It is with great pleasure for The International Input-Output Association (IIOA) to announce that Langkawi, Malaysia has been selected to host the 28th International Input-Output Conference and 10th Edition of the International School of Input-Output Analysis, which will be held from 28th August to 2nd September 2022. The IIOA Council Members unanimously agreed that the Malaysian Input-Output Economic Association acts as host institution with the Local Organising Committee (LOC), headed by Dr. Mohd Yusof Saari. Given the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the information provided by the LOC, the IIOA Council Members in its meeting of March 2022 continue to fully support the aim of a physical face-to-face event. The main responsibilities of Malaysian Input-Output Economic Association as host organisation is to secure sponsorship and organise the event which includes determining conference location, accommodation, managing conference schedules, preparing conference materials and planning meals, etc. The Scientific Programme Committee will manage the planning of the programme, sessions, etc. and together with the LOC the delivery.
